Seven Manchester United players who will benefit from re-arranged fixtures

Seven Manchester United players who will benefit from re-arranged fixtures

Following the postponement of Sunday's game against Liverpool due to anti-Glazer demonstrations, Manchester United's updated fixture list has been confirmed.

If both of the following games go on, United will have an insanely packed calendar.

 DON"T MISS:

Next week's schedule is jam-packed, with United hosting Aston Villa on Sunday, Leicester on Tuesday, and Liverpool on Thursday.

Much of this follows tonight's second leg of the Europa League semi-final.

Roma is a city in Italy (A) 6th of May

Aston Villa is an English football club (A) May 9 (H) vs. Leicester; May 11 vs. Liverpool (H) Fulham 13th May (H) 18th of May

May 23rd, Wolves (A).

Final of the Europa League (?) The 26th of May

This is an opportunity for United's squad to truly shine. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has so much relied on a core group of stars.

 DON"T MISS:

United has the roster to get through this time, so the question would be whether the best mix of players is chosen for the right games.

The five-day period against Villa, Leicester, and Liverpool is particularly taxing, especially given the caliber of the opposition.

Seven United players in particular stand to profit from the increased need for rotation...

Donny van de Beek has 332 Premier League minutes this season.

These games could provide Van de Beek with the opportunity he requires to develop himself as a key player for United. Bruno Fernandes would be rested in at least one of these tournaments, enabling the Dutchman to fill in.

Telles, Alex

After his arrival, Telles has had to play second fiddle to a revitalized Luke Shaw. His participation in tonight's game against Roma can determine how two of the three league games he participates.

This season, Amad Diallo has played 0 Premier League minutes.

Amad is still waiting for his Premier League debut, but it is almost certain that it will arrive soon. With the squad about to be put to the test, Amad will have the boost his teammates need. He's been impressive for the under-23s and deserves his opportunity to shine.

Tuanzebe, Axel

This season, 132 Premier League minutes have been played.

Axel Tuanzebe's only league start this season came against Sheffield United. If given the chance, he would be eager to make amends.

Brandon Williams has played 7 Premier League minutes this season.

Brandon Williams has had a forgettable season, and a loan departure seems to be on the cards for the summer. He is the most probable contender to step in if Aaron Wan-Bissaka takes a well-deserved break.

Juan Mata has played 338 Premier League minutes this season.

Mata is yet to appear in a league game in 2021. This could be going to shift in the near future. He could play a valuable rotational position during the next two weeks and would be hoping to start at least one game. It would be a wise decision to re-involve him.

Eric Bailly

This season's Premier League minutes played: 637

Only an illness will prevent Eric Bailly from playing in these three games during the next week. He could appear in two of them, depending on whether or not he plays against Roma tonight.
