Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he received ‘apology, personally’ from Glazers over European Super League

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer defined Sunday as a "difficult day" for the club after their Premier League match against Liverpool was postponed due to a demonstration march against the club's founders.

Solskjaer said today at a press conference ahead of the Europa League semi-final second leg tie against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico that he supports the freedom of fans to demonstrate as long as it is peaceful.

 DON"T MISS:

'It was a tough day for us,' said the boss.

‘We wanted to compete, we wanted to beat Liverpool... but, like I said, we have to listen, we have to hear the fans.'

‘Everyone has the freedom to protest; moreover, it must be done in a civilized way. Everything must be done in a peaceful way.

‘Unfortunately, breaking in and scarring police personnel for life is a step too much, and unfortunately, when it gets out of control like this, it's a police matter; it's no longer about expressing your views.

 DON"T MISS:

‘You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that we have frictions that need to be addressed.

'Others besides me have already begun; we're talking to people and engaging with fan groups, which would be huge for us in the future.'

‘Of course, we want to hear what you have to say. Everything must be done in a peaceful way. We recognize that as a club, we must improve our communication. I may return to the apologies.

'I've been in contact with the founders.' Personally, I received an apology.

 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

‘I am optimistic that we will be able to work together in the future,' he concluded.

‘Frictions and obstacles will also propel things along.'
