Manchester United, Liverpool Have NXGN Star On Radar Check It Out

Manchester United and Liverpool are expected to pursue a number of players during the transfer window, and it appears that both clubs are interested in a talented teenage winger.

Kamaldeen Sulemana is expected to attract interest, with both the Reds and the Red Devils linked to the Ghanaian winger.

DON'T MISS:

According to Nordsjaelland manager Flemming Pedersen, Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in signing the NXGN starlet.

The 19-year-old is regarded as one of the most promising prospects outside of Europe, having been named to Goal's 2021 NXGN list of the world's top teenage footballers.

This alone makes him a desirable target, and Pedersen believes that the time has come for him to receive his due.

"[Manchester] United, Liverpool, and others are competing." “Well, I also know Kamal so well that when he is under pressure, he automatically takes the next step,” Pedersen said on TV3 Sport. "And with his personality and mentality, there will never be a time when I say it will be too big a leap, because he is extraordinary."

Nordsjaelland appears to be resigned to the fact that Sulemana will be leaving Farum Park.

DON'T MISS:

However, given his talent, it appears to be a foregone conclusion, with the boss admitting that he is also behind the teen sensation's hype.

"That's completely understandable, and I helped hype him when he made his debut last spring." But we'll have to wait and see what happens," he joked.

Sulemana has drawn comparisons to the game's biggest stars in terms of hype. The most notable is Neymar, who believes that the rising star can outperform the PSG talisman because he is faster.

Sulemana has also received praise from other football figures, including FC Midtjylland captain Erik Sviatchenko.

Sviatchenko has had several fights with Sulemana and has nothing but praise for him.

“He's on his way to becoming something big, and it's a pleasure to be tested against one of Europe's great talents,” Sviatchenko said.

Sulemana has made 42 appearances for Nordsjaelland in all competitions so far.

His current contract does not expire until 2024, but bids are expected to flood in.

He is concentrating on the current task at hand until that happens. On Monday, he will play for Tigrene in a Superliga play-off against Brondby.
