Eric Bailly has never been the most traditional of defenders, as evidenced by this smooth stepover during Manchester United's 2-1 win over Wolves.
Bailly joined the club in 2017 and has since become a cult hero among fans for his unconventional approach to both defending and life in general.
And United fans were overjoyed when the centre-back was named to the starting lineup for the season's final Premier League game at Molineux.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team deserved to win, and Bailly put in a strong performance to strengthen his case for a starting spot in next week's Europa League final.
But there was one moment that would have piqued the interest of United fans above all others.
Taking the ball out of defence in the first half, the Ivory Coast international raced forward as two Wolves players closed in on him.
In a tight spot, Bailly outwitted both opponents with a step-over and a quick change of direction.
Never, ever change, Eric. Never, ever change.
