Marcus Rashford should be fit to face AS Roma in the Europa League semi-final first leg tomorrow at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
During today's press conference ahead of tomorrow's game, the manager announced that the England player has overcome his recent troubles with a foot injury.
DON'T MISS:
‘Marcus, we've handled him, and we've had to handle him for quite some time,' the manager said.
‘Last year, he had his back, then his leg, from which he has recovered very well, and I believe he has recovered from the worst of his foot as well.'
And he nearly played a full game against Leeds, he's available for selection tomorrow, and I think he's pleased with his performance.'
Solskjaer also stated that there were no other injury issues ahead of the game, stating that ‘we didn't lose anybody after the Leeds game, which was a perfect practice for us.'
DON'T MISS:
Luke Shaw also spoke at the press conference and announced that he will feature, with Alex Telles, who is normally used at left-back in Europa League games, almost likely to make way.
The fact that Shaw had announced his own inclusion amused the boss, who joked, 'I was going to ask Luke if he'd already selected the squad.'
United could face old friends Chris Smalling and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in tomorrow's match, both of whom are back from injury.
Former City man Edin Dzeko will lead the line for the Italians but former Chelsea star Pedro will be missing with injury.
The game kicks off at 8 pm today (Friday).
