The 27-year-old has been a pretty regular and reliable player in Serie A for a number of years now, and he's once again demonstrating his abilities with 12 goals and six assists in the Italian top flight this season.
According to Tuttosport, this has led to both Liverpool and Manchester United taking a look at Belotti, and it makes sense that both of these clubs are considering him right now.
Jurgen Klopp seems to be considering breaking up the incredibly strong front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino this summer, with the latter two of that trio really experiencing a dip in form.
Belotti is something of an out-and-out finisher and could give Liverpool a different dimension upfront if he does join, but he’d still be an important addition at Old Trafford.
United has flirted with a championship challenge this season, but their lack of a reliable goal-scorer has undeniably affected them.
Anthony Martial has struggled, though Mason Greenwood has also struggled for most of the first half of the season, and United has been heavily dependent on midfielder Bruno Fernandes for goals at times.
It would be exciting to see where Belotti ends up this summer, but if he ends up at one of these two clubs, he might be crucial in next season's title chase.
