Diogo Dalot's agent has assured the Portuguese defender that he "will continue to play for a fantastic European club" regardless of Manchester United's plans for him.
Dalot, 22, has flourished while on loan with AC Milan this season, but there is no guarantee the Italian club will look to extend his stay at the end of the season.
DON'T MISS:
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Dalot will have a chance to prove himself this summer, despite ongoing uncertainty about his long-term future at the club.
Carlos Goncalves, Dalot's agent, remained tight-lipped about the defender's prospects at Old Trafford but assured him that no matter what happened, he would be playing for a top club in Europe.
Diogo is under contract with Manchester United until June 30, 2023 "All decisions on his future will be taken in due time.
DON'T MISS:
There is already plenty to be determined in the Italian league, and Diogo is only concerned with Milan's immediate ambitions, which are to end the 2020/2021 season as strongly as possible in order to qualify for the Champions League.
But, whatever happens in the future, whatever decision is taken, Diogo will continue to play for a fantastic European club.”
When asked if Dalot could end up joining Milan on a permanent basis, Goncalves replied: "We will have this discussion at some stage.
In Serie A, there is already a lot to be decided.
There is no need to speed up a process when all the parties involved have their attention on the matches that remain in the league, thinking about the best for Milan.”
