Raphinha was pulled out in the final moments of the Whites' impressive victory over Manchester City, but he missed the match against Liverpool.
According to the Red Devils' website, Marcelo Bielsa has yet to confirm whether he will be available for Sunday's game.
DON'T MISS:
Fernandes was a teammate of the Leeds star at Sporting.
And, ahead of the clash, he hinted that he would like to face the winger – but he isn't sure whether that would happen.
“Unfortunately for Leeds, I believe he will be hospitalized at the time,” he told the club's official website.
“I'm hoping not.
I hope I can play against him, but if I have to take him out of the game, I will!
Relationships are kept out of the game.
He is aware of this.
He is one of the players who knows me the most.
He is aware of our friendship, but even on the practice field, he understands that it is meaningless when we play against each other.
We'll fight for everything and then go home if we have to fight in the game.
DON'T MISS:
Raphinha would undoubtedly do everything in his power to prepare.
Following the first encounter between the two clubs, Leeds have a lot to prove.
At Old Trafford, they were defeated 6-2.
Bielsa's team was also lauded.
And as a rout seemed to be on the horizon, they did not deviate from their usual strategy.
Raphinha was the one who assisted all of the travelers.
And, to be honest, there were moments against Liverpool when Leeds seemed to be without the Brazilian.
Leeds were outstanding in the second half.
However, there were times before the break that they wanted someone to push them up the pitch.
And Raphinha always seems to be the man to lead them on.
