Wagner Ribeiro, a football agent, has explained that Brazilian forward Lucas Moura's planned move to Manchester United fell through in 2012.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side was looking to bolster their attack during the summer transfer window and named Sao Paulo winger Lucas as a possible target after his promising appearances for Brazil at the London 2012 Olympics.

United had already settled on a provisional fee with Sao Paulo for his relocation, but the deal fell apart when French club Paris Saint-Germain learned about it.
Lucas has previously talked about the botched move, but now his agent Ribeiro has revealed just how close the forward comes to joining Manchester United.
