Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has announced a change of squad ahead of Sunday's clash with Manchester City.
Coming out of an endless clash with Crystal Palace, United will delight their way against the Premier League leaders.
DONT MISS:
The return from just two wins of their last eight games saw the Red Devils lose 14 points at the bottom of the race.
Losing their heavyweight record from an unbeaten 28-match unbeaten streak in all competitions would be a great comfort to Solskjaer's side, given their hopes high can be beautiful too.
DONT MISS:
Despite winning both of their last games to the Etihad Stadium, it will be a tough task for United to infuriate the big city.
The Norwegian manager hopes to have two of his first-team back in the squad for the game.
The first was Victor Lindelof, who spent United weeks playing at Selhurst Park on the bench.
"We still hope to get one or two back, of course," Solskjaer was quoted as saying by the Daily Express.
"We can not promise that one of them has been missing in the last game against Palace. So we will go with the same team if not.
"I believe at least Victor should be good. He was sitting on the case.
"He still feels his back, but hopefully, it won't hurt."
Eric Bailly, who was cut off for Lindelof with Harry Maguire, should fill the void if the Swedish center-back does not regain full strength.
Another Solskjaer player hoping to have on Sunday is Anthony Martial.
The Frenchman passed United on time for the Palace due to a minor knee injury he suffered on Monday.
"Martial probability," the Norwegian replied when asked about the 25-year-old's physical condition.
However, Paul Pogba is still part of United's injury record and is unlikely to be able to defend City.
Solskjaer admits, "I can not see Paul ready, yet."
Long absentees Juan Mata and Donny van de Beek may also be sitting out of the mammoth bottle.
Meanwhile, Dean Henderson, who was in the middle of the cane on Wednesday, will write for David de Gea again.
The Hispanic recently traveled to Spain to attend his birthday party.
"I will give him the time he needs before he returns," Solskjaer added. “He has to go home and, in the old world, you go back one day, you come back and you are ready.
“Now, with epidemics and earthquakes, it is a different world. When David wanted to go and be there to support his girlfriend, it was not a decision.
"The manager came in [against Crystal Palace] and played well, he was ready. I will give David the opportunity he wants."
