Rio Ferdinand lists two signings for Man United to do

Rio Ferdinand says Man United should sign center-back and striker in the window.

Rio Ferdinand thinks Manchester United should sign the midfield-mid-and-in-place in the summer transfer window coming up.

DONT MISS:

The Red Devils have finished this season and they are now second in the Premier League table as they have tried and completed their third game of the season.

However, Manchester United is still more than 10 points behind current Premier League leaders Manchester City, who are looking for a way back to hold their title as the winner of the season.

The current speculation will not turn into a summer opener and Manchester United players are looking to sign up to support their squad ahead of next season.

Former Manchester United defender Ferdinand wants to see the Red Devils take on a new half-breed, in addition to killers like Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland.

Speaking on his FIVE YouTube channel, Ferdinand said: "Manchester United have captured everyone last season. They scored 30 points after Liverpool last year, now they are higher than them.

That's a performance, a benefit in theory. We did not sit there last season thinking Manchester United would win the league this season or stay there.

"Four or five weeks ago we said, 'So I see that's necessary to do well in the right way. Did this team get better than they did last season? Yes, is there work to be done?

“But I see progress. I still find room for improvement, we need to buy place-back, back-office management with speed, please!

"I think [Edinson] Cavani, yes, it's a good place but [we need] a forward. If people like Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe are there, you can not let them go anywhere and you have to move the heavens and the earth to get them here.

"Manchester United used to have superstars and the youngsters would change the language at this stadium, which is great.

There is room for improvement and there are ways to improve this team, the outdoor players have, it seems. We have to mix. "

Manchester United returned to the Premier League on Wednesday evening as they travel to Crystal Palace in a top-flight.

The Red Devils then travel to Manchester City away from home on Sunday afternoon.
