Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given the injury update to three players after the club suffered a 1-1 draw against AC Milan in the first leg of the Europa League last 16.

The Red Devils opened the scoring in the 50th minute after a goal was scored by Amad Diallo, who dared to pass the ball past the striker after an incredible run.

However, they could not double the advantage and eventually paid the price with Rossoneri’s previous measurement by Simon Kjaer header in the delay period.

Harry Maguire and Daniel James both struggled to score well and the club went to the San Siro next week in need of a goal to stay in contention.

Speaking after the game, Solskjaer gave the injury update to three people including Anthony Martial, who has been replaced at rest.

The Norwegian says the Frenchman suffered his back and the scan will determine the outcome.

He added that Marcus Rashford and Edinson Cavani could postpone the weekend meeting with West Ham United at home.

However, he was optimistic about Rashford's hopes of making a comeback on Sunday.

He told Manutd.com: "Anthony got a haircut on his hip, so there are more we need to measure and watch."

"I hope Marcus returns next Thursday in Milan. I was not sure if it would be a Sunday but fingers crossed, as we would need it.

"Edinson, I do not think to be ready for Sunday, yet."

The Red Devils find themselves in the throes of potential turmoil as the person mentioned above could not meet David Moyes.

Mason Greenwood will be the key to taking the line at that point and he may also open the starting point for Diallo.

The 18-year-old has suffered a concussion for United against the Rossoneri and will be hoping for his girlfriend to start in the Red Devils.
