Manchester United has done better than most would expect them to do at the start of the season. As things stand, they are now second in the Premier League table, behind only Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
And although it looks like they will not win the title this season, the improvement that a side has shown in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been fantastic.
DONT MISS:
That does not mean that everything was perfect but, far from it. One of the key areas of weakness this season has been rising and the club has struggled to find the back of the net recently.
In this respect, Anthony Martial is the most concerned. After a 23-goal tally last season, he has failed to meet the pressure and so far has only seven goals to his name this season. And Ray Parlor has yet to praise the Frenchman. According to news from Metro, he told the media talk:
DONT MISS:
'I do not know if he was the type of player when he left his confidence so much, I do not see him day by day.
'But it just didn't work out for him as a boxer for Manchester United.
'Harmony is a very important part of football. If you are going to be at the top of your game, you should make sure that you follow one week in a row, releasing the show weekly.
'It's not that, for me. He can have a 9 out of 10 and then he suddenly gets two 4 out of 10s. '
Martial needs improvement if Manchester United is difficult on the topic
At this point, it is safe to say that Anthony Martial is a key player for Manchester United. The club has Edinson Cavani in their ranks, but the Uruguayan have recently suffered an injury and have been linked with a move away from the club.
So, the best solution now would be for Martial to rediscover its form. At the top of his game, there is no denying the Frenchman is a good player. Unfortunately, he hasn’t done his best for most of this season.
But it will also be too early for Martial. We have to remember, it was only last season that he scored 23 goals and was viewed as the long-term solution of the striker for the new Manchester United attack.
