Manchester United Confirm They'll Allow Two Superstars Leave Old Trafford

The Manchester United squad is stocked up with both quality and fringe players, with each position having at least two options.

This has led to an increased wage bill as some fringe players earn too many weekly wages for just sitting and warming the Manchester United bench.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking forward to sorting out the goalkeeping department which is crowded with more than four goalkeepers, but he prefers to utilize David de Gea and Dean Henderson.

This has prompted him to allow the United board to release some of the fringe players to create room for new players who will come to strengthen other positions.

DONT MISS:

According to Manchester Evening News reports, Manchester United has confirmed that two of their goalkeepers will be allowed to leave Old Trafford when the season comes to an end.

The reports claim that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking forward to releasing both Sergio Romero and Lee Grant who has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford.

Sergio Romero was the second choice goalkeeper at Manchester United, but sooner after Dean Henderson arrived from his loan spell at Sheffield United, he was relegated to the third choice.

However, his push for an exit last summer made him fall further the pecking order as youngster Nathan Bishop is ahead of him in the third position if it comes to selection.

Lee Grant has only played one match for Manchester United since he was signed by Jose Mourinho, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to give him a new coaching role if he decides to retire after being released.

Will the club have done something good by letting the players leave?
