Manchester United Becomes The First Team To Score This number Of Goals So Far

Manchester United's thrilling win against Newcastle United was a thing of beauty as goals from Marcus Rashford, Daniel James and Bruno Fernandes saw the Red Devils rise up the League table to sit in second place again.

The position was momentarily occupied by Leicester City who beat Aston Villa. United has now scored the most goals in the Premier League so far with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side betting 53 goals.

The last time they scored this amount of goals was in the 2012/2013 season where they scored 60 goals at this stage of the competition.

This becomes Daniel James' first time scoring two consecutive goals this season. Fernandes now has 22 goals and 12 assists across all competitions, becoming the only midfielder across the top 5 Leagues to do so. While Rashford netted his 18th of the season.

DONT MISS:

United is still 10 points behind a very good Manchester City side with the Reds and Leicester City the only real threats Pep Guardiola will have to face before he wins his third Premier League title.

Solskjaer's side will face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and will have a chance to close the gap between them and City if they beat a very defensively solid Thomas Tuchel side.
