Chelsea Could Announce The Signing Of Man Utd Target This Summer

 

Chelsea are planning ahead of next season and one the department they will like to strengthen is the defence department.

Chelsea new manager, Thomas Tuchel is interested in signing Manchester United transfer target, Ibrahima Konate.

 

The London club could announce the signing of the RB Leipzig defender in the summer if both clubs finally reach an agreement.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United were initially interested in Dayot Upamecano, who recently signed with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, and both clubs have now turned their attention toward his talented defensive partner.

Another club also interested in signing Konate next summer is Liverpool but Chelsea and Manchester United have the edge according to recent reports.

With Thiago Silva yet to be offer new contract and his current deal ending in the summer, Konate could be a perfect replacement for the Brazil international come next season.

Another Bundesliga player on Chelsea's radar is Niklas Sule who currently plays for Bayern Munich.
