Darren Fletcher held his first Manchester United interview on Monday ahead of the Darby clash.



Former Manchester United player Fletch join the club as a member of the coaching staff. On Monday morning, 


Fletch held his first session as the Red Devils prepare for the Carabao Cup semi-final match against Manchester City on Wednesday.

During his time as a Red Devils player, Darren Fletcher experienced many high moments, including lifting five league titles, 

the Champions League and the FA Cup, while enjoying some time alongside some Manchester United legends.



However, the 36-year-old did endure challenging moments during his period as a Man United player, 

such as breaking into the team during a transition period for the side, being relegated with Stoke City in 2018, and suffering an inflammatory illness It is both the bad and good that Fletcher is hoping to bring on as he takes his first steps into the world of coaching.



'I think the biggest thing about playing for Manchester United is it is one of the biggest clubs in the world,'

Fletcher added. 'It is the club that comes under the most scrutiny and is different to any other club in the World.'
