Solskjaer has received an injury boost for Anthony Martial ahead of the Liverpool match.

The French forward Anthony Martial secured an injury on Manchester United last EPL game against Burnley in midweek,

but the Red Devil's striker is expected to be fit in time for their next Premier League action against the defending Champions Liverpool on Sunday, according to The Daily Mail.

The report made known that Man United will give Anthony Martial as much time as possible to prove his fitness ahead of Sunday's top-of-the-table fight at Anfield.

'The 25-years-old Manchester United star appeared to be hurt in his hamstring as he attempted to shot during the end of Burnley match on Tuesday night and was substituted with Axel Tuanzebe immediately.

'Old Trafford source claimed that the injury is not as bad as first feared and Anthony Martial was moving freely after the game,

although the Frenchman will be assessed on Thursday morning after the players were given Wednesday off'.

The Manchester United attacker has been a consistent player in the club's forward line so far this season, scoring two and assisting four goals in 13 EPL matches for the Red Devils.

However, the 25-year-old French international had to be taken off in the dying minutes of the game with the hamstring injury and immediately some people doubt his involvement in the Sunday clash at Anfield.

Thankfully, Martial's injury does not look too serious and the player should be fit and available for Solskjaer's selection by the end of the week.

On the other hand, Liverpool is currently facing injury blow on their defensive line with players like Joel Matip, Van Dijk, and Joe Gomez all out because of injury.

So Manchester United coach Solskjaer will definitely capitalize on that to name his strongest front line at Anfield.

If the 25-year-old is not 100% fit, then Solskjaer will no other option than to deploy Edison Cavani upfront and use young Mason Greenwood on the right-wing.
