Man Utd new signing  Donny van de Beek and Dean Henderson featured in the Club's pre-season clash with Aston Villa.


Manchester United newcomer Donny van de Beek was given his first run out in the club's shirt following his £40million arrival from Ajax earlier this summer transfer window.


It was Aston Villa's new signing Ollie Watkins who occupied the headlines with his fantastic goal in a narrow victory at Villa Park on Sunday.

The Newcomer Van de Beek and goalkeeper Dean Henderson were among the players singled out for their display during the clash with Aston Villa by Man United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the end of the game.


He said: 'Henderson shows his authority at the back and He plays like a proper Man United goalkeeper,.



'Donny on the hand was maybe the biggest plus outfield. He was just a finder of space and he created more time for himself with his timing and movement. I was very much happy with his performance.'


On the general performance, the Manchester United coach adds: 'During the first half of the game I thought we played some good stuff and created chances.
