He finally speaks out about his future amid Man United link

While on international duty with England at Euro 2020, Kieran Trippier has stated that he is unconcerned about rumors surrounding his future.

After assisting Atletico Madrid in winning the La Liga title last season, the full-back has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

DON'T MISS:

Last season, the 30-year-old right-back helped Atletico Madrid win the La Liga title with six assists in 28 games, and he has made three appearances for England at Euro 2020 thus far.

Trippier has been mentioned as a possible target for Manchester United this summer, as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to bolster his team and prepare for a title fight next season.

However, the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has stated that he is just concerned with his duty with England as they prepare for their semi-final match against Denmark on Wednesday night.

DON'T MISS:

“I've just enjoyed the season [at Atletico] and we've won the title,” Trippier told The Guardian when asked about the talk of a prospective move to Manchester United.

“I'm in Denmark with England, and I'm not thinking about my club or what's going on.

“I'm just focused on England and giving it my all if I get the chance to play. Even if I don't play, I give it my all.”

Atletico Madrid's Trippier made 35 appearances in all competitions last season. In July 2019, he joined the Spanish club from Tottenham Hotspur.
