After Juan Mata signed a new one-year contract with Manchester United, Bruno Fernandes took to social media to congratulate him.
As his contract with the Red Devils came to an end, Mata's future at Old Trafford became a cause of speculation.

The 33-year-old Spanish playmaker had been linked with a move away from the club, but he has now signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2022.
Mata, who joined Manchester United from Chelsea FC in January 2014, has 51 goals in 273 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils.
As the Red Devils attempt to win the Premier League for the first time since 2013, the midfielder will be hoping to be engaged in a title challenge next season.
On Friday, Portuguese playmaker Fernandes took to social media to express his happiness at Mata's decision to stay with the Red Devils for another season, as well as to mock the Spaniard.

“I guess I'll have to wait another year for the number eight,” Fernandes commented on Twitter.
“Way to go, brother!! It was well deserved! On and off the field, he is a role model and an inspiration.”
Mata will be hoping for some more first-team action next season after he was limited to just 18 appearances in all competitions and six starts in the Premier League.
