According to Sunday's papers, Manchester United will compete with Dutch giants Ajax to sign a highly-rated Ghana winger this summer, while Everton are ready to make a run for a Fulham midfielder.

AJAX VS. UNITED FOR WINGER

Ajax are allegedly aiming to beat Manchester United to the signing of talented Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana.

DON"T MISS:

Marc Overmars, Ajax's director of football and a former Arsenal winger, is due to head to Denmark on Monday to see the 19-year-old play for his team Nordsjlland versus FC Copenhagen.

According to the Mail on Sunday, the Amsterdam club had a £10 million offer for the winger turned down in the January transfer window. They are willing to increase their bid in order to fight off pressure from United's transfer manager Matt Judge and German club Bayer Leverkusen.

Sulemana, who can play on either wing, came to fame with Ghana's Right to Dream Academy, which owns Nordsjaelland and uses it as a showcase for the most talented young players.

Mohammed Kudus, a 20-year-old midfielder signed from Nordsjaelland last summer, helped Ajax secure their 35th Eredivisie championship this season.

DON"T MISS:

Sulemana is expected to become Ghana's most prolific footballer since Michael Essien's time at Chelsea.

He has five goals in his last five games in Denmark and was voted the league's April Player of the Month. In addition, he made his foreign debut in October.

United did sign wingers Amad Diallo and Facundo Pellestri last summer, but the club is also looking for more new, offensive potential.

Sulemana definitely suits the bill in terms of what they're searching for. However, it seems that the Red Devils would need to strike swiftly in order to beat Ajax to the punch.

Everton are interested in signing Fulham midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.
