Pogba slams former Manchester United manager for going against players

Pogba slams former Manchester United manager for going against players

Paul Pogba has spoken out about his friendship with Jose Mourinho, whom he worked with at Manchester United from 2016 to 2018.

When Mourinho took over as manager of the Red Devils, Pogba was his marquee signing.
DON'T MISS:

Initially, the two had rather fruitful partnership, which helped the club win three trophies in the 2016/17 season.
However, this momentum stalled the next year.

Many news emerged concerning the manager's tense relationship with several stars at the club.

Owing to training ground disagreement, Pogba was stripped of the vice-captaincy in 2018.

About the fact that the Portuguese manager was finally fired due to disappointing performances, Pogba stuck at Old Trafford.
Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, he is now thriving.

DON'T MISS:

He told Sky Sports, "What have now with Ole is different, he wouldn't go against the players."

“Maybe Ole wouldn't pick them, but it's not like he tosses them to the side as if they don't matter.
That is the distinction between Mourinho and Ole.

“Once upon time, had wonderful friendship with Mourinho, and the next day you don't know what happened.

“That was the odd problem had with Mourinho, which can't describe because don't know.
Okay, then.”

Not only did Pogba have strained friendship with the former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss.
Mourinho was also regular target for Luke Shaw.

Shaw acknowledged that it was "very rough period" in his career.

Under Solskjaer, the 25-year-old left-back has redeemed himself and is playing his best football yet.

Pogba has acknowledged the positive bond that exists between the boss and the left-back.

“Ole has improved Luke lot – it was tough season with Luke now Mourinho, and he has shown he has the consistency he has always had and the manager's trust,” he added.
