Manchester United veteran denied one-year extension and set to leave in the summer

 

Manchester United have recently reversed their decision on Lee Grant, with the veteran goalkeeper now likely to leave the club at the end of the season.

Grant has to be one of the league's most valuable players. 

A fourth official, a third-choice goalkeeper, and a goalkeeping assistant. 

Versatility is a desirable asset.

Unfortunately for the former Stoke City player, Manchester United simply does not emphasize what he brings to the table as they can.

 

According to the Daily Mail, a decision has been taken to refuse Grant a one-year contract extension, which has irritated the goalkeeper.

According to the paper, all signs pointed to Grant signing an extension, but that no longer seems to be the case.

Grant, who was out of contract in the summer, is now set to leave Manchester United on a free transfer in just a few months.
