Liverpool have agreed to sign Ex-United Star on a free transfer

Liverpool has tabled a bid for former Manchester United forward Memphis Depay, according to reports in the Spanish media.

The Dutchman contract at Lyon expires during the summer and he will be available on a free transfer.

DON'T MISS:

It is believed that both the Reds and Juventus have agreed on a 27-year-old contract, although the player appears to be reluctant to accept either.

Depay's choice is believed to be that of Barcelona where he could link up with his former Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman. However, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas said the player had not yet made up his mind.

DON'T MISS:

Speaking of a futuristic future recently, Aulas seems unhappy with the player leaving for a bigger club, although he has not ruled out a move to Barca. Requirements:

“I have not received any negative comments about [Depay]. I will respect his decision. If he went to a club bigger than Lyon, he would be right. If he stays, it will mean we have made fun of him and we have won. "

Depay would be a further addition to the squad if he moved to Liverpool. His ability to play right across the line will certainly make him fit for Jurgen Klopp's game.
