Bruno Fernandez joined Manchester United during the January 2019 transfer window. 

He arrived at Old Trafford from Sporting CP at a time when the Red Devils were lacking creativity in their Midfielder.

Portugal International, with his arrival to Manchester, brought back the spark of a Playmaker that was missing in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer squad and was instrumental in Manchester United's top-four finish on the English premier league table last season.

Although his talents in the attacking Midfield role cannot be denied, Bruno Fernandez's goalscoring statistics have been padded and aided mainly because he's a Manchester United Penalty taker.

His first goal as a Manchester United player was a Penalty kick last season against Watford in a league match. He also converted from the penalty kick spot against Granada in Spain on Thursday in a Europa League encounter.

Bruno Fernandez has taken a total of 20 Penalty kicks for Manchester United across all competitions since he joined the club in 2019. He's has scored 19 out of them, and the only time he missed a Penalty kick was against Newcastle United.
