Matthijs de Light has made a comeback after the mid-back venue for the summer opener.
The 21-year-old defender has been following the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Man United, despite a summer exit from Juventus.
DONT MISS:
Matthijs has raised many eyebrows when he not only established himself as an example for Ajax when he was still in his teens but also became a leading figure in the early stages of his career.
At the same time, it was also an important backbone for the Dutch national side and all this meant that it did not come to mind that big organizations were coming soon.
Among the many top teams, the Bianconeri ended security for his services in the summer of 2019 and he has continued his promotion since, despite some gaps here and there. So far, de Ligt has given 61 assists to the Old Lady, chipping with 4 goals and an assist.
DONT MISS:
Before the summer, though, it was a hot item, with Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Man United hot on his way.
As for the Red Devils, they are looking for a reliable partner for manager Harry Maguire.
While Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly have done well, for the most part, their tactical effects have meant Maguire has no equal partner at the heart of the Red Devils back defense.
Some people like de Light would be the best solution, then, for Man United, with his ability to lead as a bonus. The Bianconeri, however, will not let the Dutch center-back return cheaply and will need a price tag similar to the € 75m they paid to sign him two years ago.
