Napoli are showing great interest in Manchester United loanee

DONT MISS:

Soon, the Red Devils will find themselves amid several talks with Serie A clubs such as Diogo Dalot, now on loan at AC Milan, drawing some interest.

According to TuttoSport (formerly of Spazio Milan), Napoli has expressed an interest in signing the Portuguese full-back permanently next summer.

The report also believes Manchester United needs a transfer fee of million 20 million for Dalot, which AC Milan does not seem to want to miss out on. Napoli will also announce that it is trying to bring the transfer fee elsewhere.

DONT MISS:

Signed by Porto in 2018 when Jose Mourinho was manager of Manchester United, Dalot failed to fill the space in the first team position under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Dalot made the best start to his time at the San Siro, scoring and assisting every goal in his two Europa League starts last October.

Other than the game though, he only had two more goals during his time with AC Milan and was not always available to them in Serie A.

United joined AC Milan at Old Trafford for the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16 ties on Thursday. And Stefano Pioli chose to farm Dalot against his parents.

With the game completing a 1-1 draw, it put in nine minutes of play, while playing on the left-back night.

Having registered two goals and two assists in 22 games for the Italian giants, Dalot felt the need to give way more until the end of the season.

And he will be interested to see if he can afford to earn a permanent living for AC Milan at the time, Napoli is also wondering.

If the move does not happen, Dalot will return to Manchester United as the 21-year-old has a contract until June 2023 with the club.
