Is Manchester United actually regreting Jesse Lingard's loan deal?

Is Manchester United actually regreting Jesse Lingard's loan deal?

This season has been one of Manchester United's best since the time of Sir Alex Ferguson. After more than seven years, it looks like they were designed to set up a prediction before falling behind Manchester City after a string of disappointing results since the turn of the year.

While the league is still undefeated, Pep Guardiola's side needs just 17 points from their last nine games to claim their title. And on paper now, they should be the most important thing to beat him by this, even if they lose 2-0 at United hands on Sunday.

It is undeniable that Bruno Fernandes has been a key man for the Red Devils since joining the club and is now one of the best players in the world. But the club must find another way for the Portuguese maestro as well, as they are unable to break the deadlock when he is not at the top of his game.

While Donny van de Beek was supposed to sign that man, he has yet to make his mark at Old Trafford. On the other hand, Paul Pogba is out with an injury.

Jesse Lingard has impressed since loaning to West Ham United. After a hamstring injury at Old Trafford, it looks like the Englishman has seen his form once again with 4 goals and 2 assists in 6 appearances for the Hammers.

As a result, David Moyes' side finds themselves struggling for the Champions League, something that not many of their fans will be able to predict at the start of the season. He raised questions even about whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be given more options for Lingard.

Perhaps the change of scenery is exactly what the English language needs and why it is so current. The finish is done anyway and hopefully, Lingard can do the same when he returns to Old Trafford.
