He's My Undisputed Main Man: Solskjaer Heaps Praise On His Star Player Who Made Impact In 1-0 Win.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United was in red hot form last night as they played West Ham United in the FA Cup fourth-round tie at Old Trafford. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made several changes to his team as he brought in players who have rarely featured this season.

Manchester United was in control of the match for the better part, but they failed to make any goal impact, as they went to extra time after a 0-0 result in the 90th minute.

However, the bringing on Scott McTominay brought much change on the scoreline as he salvaged a late goal for Manchester United after a sleek one-touch assist from Marcus Rashford. Lots of praise has been heaped on Scott McTominay as he has now scored 8 goals in all 30 games he has played this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reserved much praise on the Scottish 24 years old. Speaking to Manchester United TV podcast, Solskjaer was quoted saying, "Scott used to be a striker and I think he finished with authority. You see that he doesn't mind being in those positions. He just smashed the ball into the net. He is among those untouchable players we have at the moment."

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also hinted at a role change for the 24 years who seems to be improving daily. Were you happy with the 1-0 win?
