Manchester United FC simply want to sign the Sevilla prodigy on a knockdown fee

Manchester United FC simply want to sign the Sevilla prodigy on a knockdown fee

Manchester United has been linked with a move for Sevilla center-back Jules Kunde, but they have refused to make his then 68 million release clause in the final.

Kunde is one of the hottest-half-expectations in European football and reports have claimed he has been at the top of the Red Devils' fall prospects.

The 22-year-old ace was targeted by Manchester City last year, with an approach from Pep Guardiola unaccompanied by the La Liga side.

Citizens gave their opinion to land Ruben Dias instead for £ 62m.

The Old Trafford side is also reluctant to match its shipping costs, according to a report by the Daily Mail.

The club is wary of spending too much over complaints of COVID-19 transmission and the organization hierarchy will not approve spending too much on defense attorneys this summer.

United had hoped that asking prices would fall further, including Borussia Dortmund's £ 100m-rated Jadon Sancho.

The manager of Sevilla Sporting Monchi has confirmed after the PL leaders handed over to Kunde, who have scored three goals in 32 games this season, that the youngster has claimed the fee has been met with some speculation.

Elsewhere, Leicester City has been accused of joining West Ham United in the hunt for signing Jesse Lingard from Manchester United permanently.

The 28-year-old has resumed his West Ham career since signing a loan spell with the Red Devils in January, scoring three goals in four outside appearances.

West Ham is willing to keep Lingard's services for a long time, even though the club has no right to buy players at all.

It remains to be seen whether United is ready to sell him, but Eurosport says the Foxes could join the Irons in a bid with an offer.
