Manchester United is planing on landing Brazilian starlet Gabriel Veron from Palmeiras.

From The Sports News broadcast, Man United are negotiating to agree on terms with the 18-year-old attacker before heading on to reach an agreement with the club Palmeiras on fees.


The popular Spanish News outlet has stated that Manchester United and their rival Mancity City have taken the lead to land the teenager to the club, who is also on the transfer list of Barcelona.

Veron's current contract with the Brazilian Outfit is expected to expire in 2025 and his club values him at 60 million euros. In such a case, Palmeiras need not be in any form of hesitation to let the youngster leave the club.

Sports News claim that at the moment, the young player is valued at around 20 million euros but the South American Outfit are hoping to let him go for at least 32 million euros (£28million) i.e the fee that Man City paid in other to sign Selecao forward Gabriel Jesus back in 2016.

The Palmeiras young star Veron was one of the Brazilian's best players in the 2019 U-17 World Cup. He netted 3 goals and provided many assist after 7 appearances to help his country lift the trophy.

This Saturday, his club will be facing Santos in the final of the Copa Libertadores and the winner will of the clash be taken part in the FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar next month.
