Paul Merson to the Daily Star: 'Man United should try and give some rest to Bruno Fernandes against Liverpool this Sunday.
He seems to be tired to me. He's played every single game in the league and all those minutes start to be added up after a while.
For me, He does not need to feather in the coming game. Manchester United haven't had a chance to win the league like this for a few seasons.
'They have to utilize this opportunity the title race. The FA Cup is not that important to compare to English Premier League.
It is more important to rest him so that he will be fresh as possible for the league. He lefts them. They want him to make things happen.
'Man United basically parked the bus against Klopp's men in the league game. Tottenham Jose Mourinho would have got slaughter for it.
But it seems to work for the Red because they got a draw and that's all they needed.
