According to O Jogo, Man United are keeping an eye on Sporting Lisbon left-back Nuno Mendes.
Manchester United interest in signing a new left-back last summer in other to provide some competition for England international Luke Shaw.
They were believed to have been interested in getting the signature of Mendes before eventually shifting interest to the Brazilian international Alex Telles from Porto for £15 million.

It is still not sure whether the Red Devils will still make an offer for the 18-year-old in the near future. However, he could potentially be an option should in case Luke Shaw or Alex Telles leaves the club.
Manchester United is the only European club that is monitoring the teenager. He has been exceptional since being elevated into the Sporting first-team this year.
Some top European elite are also interested in the young player with the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Liverpool are all believed to be scoring the Portugal U-21 international.
After featuring for just 17 league games for the Sporting senior team, it is imperative that the 18-year-old gains more experience at the peak before joining the senior team.
It will be good to see how the teenager develops his career, Man United left-back Shaw has struggled with consistency since signing for the Red in 2014, and if that performance continues, Solskjaer would be left with no choice but to replace him.
