FC Barcelona is not only concerned with the opening of the January transfer window but also the forthcoming Presidential election which is going to take place on the 24th of January.

If Barcelona elects the wrong person for the position of the club chief, as they have clearly seen in their former President Joseph Maria Bartomeu, the damage could worsen and irreparable.

Many candidates are looking for that position and doing all in their power to impress over the next four weeks or so, and the backbone behind all this, is the idea that certain players will arrive should they when finally occupy the position, which seen to be one of the selling points.

One of the Presidential candidate Joan Laport once said during his campaign that David Beckham would arrive back in 2013 as part of his mandate before Manchester United star seal a move to Spanish capital Real Madrid and Barcelona later sign Ronaldinho.

Manchester United will likely play part in Jordi Farre's candidacy too.

According to Din Balon, despite the claim that Neymar Jnr will return to Camp Nou, Farre is looking to bring Manchester United star Marcus Rashfrd to LaLiga giants.

However, He plans to exchange Marcus Rashford for one of the three-star players likely Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele, or Griezman, But Ousman Dembele is most likely in the position to make that switch to Old Trafford.

However, no formal agreement has been reached between the two sides with the Red Devils not planing to let their star forward leave.
