Manchester United icon Alex Ferguson has wished for Pochettino to take up the Man United Managerial job.
Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2018 reportedly wanted Manchester United to hire the service of the former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino instead of the former club player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
At the time Manchester United terminated the contract of Jose Mourinho and was in a state of minor club turmoil.

The Norwegian manager was brought in as a temporary coach, handed with the task of steadying the ship.
He did very well and then some, convinced Manchester United chief Ed Woodward and the board that he was the right man to take up the position of a permanent coach.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was then signed as the permanent manager, and to this day shares a very strong bond with his coach Ferguson.
The reason has been that he believes that the Argentine was the best in the business at the time, and thought it was Manchester United's job to find only the elite.
The former Tottenham boss Pochettino is still out of duty as manager after been sacked by the club back in 2019.
Pochettiho talked to the Sky Sports News on Monday Night Football this week where he was asked about his desire to returning to football management.
He said: I always feel ready to be involved in the match. it is my desire and passion, not my job. My energy is full and I love to be part of the game. But at the same time, I need to understand that it is a good time to wait.
'I have come to understand when I was really young that football will dictate your way. I am still waiting to feel which is the right thing to take.'
