Juventus are planning on getting Cristiano Ronaldo off their wage bill as Manchester United make a formal offer for five times ballon d'Or winner.

Ronaldo has been linked with a move back to Old Trafford in the recent wees. Juventus are said to be eager to get the Portuguese superstar off their wage bill, given he receives a huge sum of £28million every season.

According to the report from last week which claimed that the English club had made a former offer to Cristiano Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendez, which the forward is aware of and considering.

The report claims that for now, the former Manchester United player Ronaldo is remaining focused on Juventus, who are currently securing the fifth position in the Serie A - just four points behind the league leader AC Milan.

It seems highly unlikely for the deal to land the five-time Ballon d'Or winner to Man United will materialize this summer despite the fanfare surrounding the transfer speculation.

However, one man who will be excited to see Ronaldo come back to Old Trafford is his brother Bruno Fernandes.

The Manchester United midfielder Fernandes is a big fan of his countryman and previously admitted to falling in love with Man United due to Ronaldo.
