Here is how Manchester United performed against Chelsea, a match which ended on a goalless draw at Old Trafford.
De Gea - although he did not see much ball on his side due to Chelsea's lack of attempt he played very well. 6
DON'T MISS:
Wan-Bissaka - he maintained his defending abilities against the marauding Ben Chilwell and never looked tired throughout the game. 7
Lindelof - seems to be a problem for the Blue attackers after maintaining a solid defense throughout the game. he managed the ball very well. 8
Maguire - always confused with what to do with the ball and fortunate not to have had a penalty for grabbing Cesar Azpilicueta in a headlock. 6
Shaw - looks calm when handling the ball. Not especially urgent getting forward and always overlapping Daniel James.
McTominay - always wasting the ball but aggressive when marking the ball from his opponent. he countered the energy of Chelsea player Kante. 6
Fred- prompt when with the ball at times but his strength and awareness were impressive apart from a couple of mistakes. 7
Mata - always finding Man Utd striker Rashford in the front and made some nice passes in the game. 7
Fernandes - Quiet for spells and played a shot that was directed straight to Mendy. Did not create any chance in the game. 5
James - did not contribute anything in the game after an encouraging returned against Newcastle last week. 3
Rashford - should have netted a goal when given a pass by Juan Mata but his shot was blocked by Mendy. also made another attempt to find the back of the net in the dying minutes. 7
