However, the former Tottenham coach Pochettinho and Massimiliano Allegri have been linked with Man Utd managerial hot seat, with the former Tottenham and Juventus bosses both out of work.

Solskjaer managed to lead Man Utd to finish third in the Premier League table last season, while also seeing the semi-finals of  Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and Europa League.

While that is the case, however, they have endured a poor start to the new season.

The Red was beaten 3-1 by Crytal Palace in their opening match of the season and, though they managed to win Brighton on 90+ mins of the game, were then thumped 6-1 by Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford last time out.

That is what fueled the talk on Solskjaer could be sacked, with potential replacement Pochettino and Allegri starting to intensify.

However, Former Man United player Saha, who also played alongside the Norwegian during his time with the Red, feels the club needs to give Man United legend more time.

'We are rushing to make a decision on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and that is very wrong after just three matches of the season,'

'You will not forget when he initially got the job, how he was playing. everybody was convinced he had to be given a chance after Man Utd defeated PSG in the Champions League at the start of 2019. They were doing great.

'I played with Solskjaer and maybe you will say I am biased when I defend him.

'However, I think we should not forget the really visible improvements so far in the Manchester United team.

'Now that things are going in different ways. But it is the start of the season and you have to understand why it is not a good moment.

'There are managers out there who have won more than Ole, But I still believe Solskjaer can do a great job for Man Utd.
