"I was unfair" Man Utd boss Solskjaer admits his mistake in pressuring his star player into action

Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits to being rushing Paul Pogba into action.

According to Manchester United Evening News, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that he was wrong to rush back on the Frenchman Paul Poagba.

The French international tested positive for the coronavirus in late August. He did not start training with the rest of the team until nine days before Man United's Premier League opening match against Crystal Palace on September 19.

Instead of resting the player, the Manchester United coach threw Poagba straight into the starting line-up for the matches against Brighton and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Man Utd star however has failed to impress in either game and was subsequently dropped for the next clash against Newcastle United.

The 27-year-old had come off the bench in our last two games against Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League fixture and last weekend clash against Chelsa.

Despite not meeting up with fans' expectations, he has seemed to be a bit better than he did earlier in the season.

The major highlight so far was his assist for Marcus Rashford's winning goal at the Parc des Princes. the contribution in the match could prove pivotal resulting in our draw in the group of death.

Man United have enjoyed a mixed bag of interesting and bad games so far this season. Distressing performance such as that against Tottenham was followed by the highs against Paris Saint-Germain.

Hopefully, it might be a turn of the tide and we can get a better run going, Manchester United will be clashing with  RB Leipzig in the Champions League match on Wednesday night.

Another victory at home will see us make a big step towards qualifying for Champions League Round-16.

The Frenchman Paul Pogba has not yet to fulfill his potential at Old Trafford. Hopefully, he will display just what he can do and play a key role in our season.
