Deal Confirmed - Man United agree on a deal to sign €30m Atalanta player sensation in January.

Manchester United have reached an agreement with Atalanta to sign Amad Traore in January.

Atalanta player Amad Traore had been heavily linked with a move to join Parma, but it has fallen through for Man United at the last hurdle.

That with handle an opportunity for Manchester United, who previously made an approach for the teenager early last month.

However, Man United are on the verge of hijacking the deal for Amad Traore.

According to Fabrizio Romano and Gianluca Di Marzio who reported that the 18-year-old will be moving to Old Trafford in the winter after his club, Atalanta blocked his move to Parma because of the Manchester United link.

Di Marzio also reported that the Red will fish out around €30 million for the talented teenager.

Mike McGrath of the Telegraph also claims that the Premier League club has sent an application for a work permit for the Ivory Coast international on Friday.

The timing resulted in the player going to wait until January to seal his move.

Amad Traore after making three appearances for his club under the first team scored one goal, making him the first player born in 2002 to score in Serie A.

Manchester United have been looking for a winger all summer, with the Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho their prime target at first. Barcelona player Ousmane Dembele then became their backup plan.

The Ivory Coast international could be a good option for the long-term, despite only featuring for just 24 minutes in the Italian Serie A game to date.
