Man Utd open transfer talks with Jadon Sancho alternative





With the Borussia Dortmund negotiation over their star player Jadon Sancho not yielding any noteworthy results, it seems that the two clubs have reached an impasse for the last couple of weeks. 


Man Utd has now open transfer talks with the Italian giants over the signing of Douglas Costa this summer.

According to the same report which claims that Man Utd are reluctant to add any amount on the initial amount north of £27 million for the Juventus winger.


The 29-year-old Brazilian international has been with Serie A outfit Juventus since 2017, has moved from Bayern Munich, initially on loan, 



before completing a move later in the year which worth £36m million. However, he has not been in his full capacity in Juventus' recent glories. 


The South American player just managed to start seven league matches for his club last football campaign and he directly contributed to just a single goal and made five assists in the 23 appearances for Juventus.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Manchester United have made contact to sign him. During the time of Sir Alex Ferguson, 


Man Utd wants to sign the player because Ferguson saw some potential and wanted to sign him from Shakhtar Donetsk towards the end of the stay at Old Trafford but the Costa chose Bavarian over Manchester United.

Douglas Costa has previously proven his abilities and worth, he is really a champion of a performer, but is inevitably drawing closer to the end of his football career.
