On top of that, the German outfit Borussia Dortmund have publicly stated that they are planning for the England international to remain at the club despite Manchester United's clear interest in landing the player to the Premier League.
Melissa Reddy, a senior sports news correspondent for The Independent, has suggested that the transfer for the player is only dependent on the amount Man United are willing to pay for the player this summer.
Speaking to the Sky Sports, Reddy said: 'it feels Borussia Dortmund are very comfortable he will be staying with them. But this just feels like a case of money.
'if Man United are willing to meet-up with the Dortmund valuation of the player, he can become a United player.'
'We know there has always been a tendency in the past for Manchester United to play the long game, haggle over money, and eventually pay what the club actually wants them to pay. We saw that in the likes of Harry Maguire and Fernandes.

'However, with that strategy, you are starving the player of the chance to come in the earlier and adapt to the team and build chemistry, understand the culture of the club, and if that happens again, I don't think Man Utd fans will appreciate that, to allow so long pass before signing the player they want.
The England star is ready for a bigger stage than what Dortmund can offer him.
Sancho after completing 32 Bundesliga games for BVB last season, scored 17 goals and made 16 assists.
