In a summer transfer market which has been doom and gloom for Man Utd fans since we qualified for Champions League, bizarrely, Dean Henderson is a ray of a morning star.
Manchester United through their media channel a six-year contract extension for Henderson earlier this week, with Sky Sports reporting that the England international will compete for a first-team spot with David De Gea.

The 23-year-old has been on Man Utd list since he was 14, and now he is on the verge of making his first Man Utd team appearance.
The English goalie told the club website: 'that joining United would mean the world to me. Everything I have done in my career is to place myself in the position to do that.
I have worked very hard behind the scenes and had to take many ways in other to get where I want to be today.
'I am sat here now, thinking about what next step to take and obviously that Man Utd debut would be one of the things I will be very proud of and something I will never, ever forget in my life, if it comes - when it comes!'

Over the past few years, Manchester United have so-called mercenaries come and go, without much passion for the club.
Henderson genuinely does care for United, and his enthusiasm is good to hear. it could be just what Man Utd is looking for, combined with his football talent.
The 23-ear-old was among the crow at OLd Trafford when Marcus Rashford made his debut in 2016 in the Europa League clash against Midtjylland. Now he is drawing closer to his own first-team bow.
On the field, Handerson has proven his abilities that he can play in the Premier League, after keeping 13 clean sheets on loan for Sheffield United last football campaign.
There is obviously more adjustment he needs to make in other to step up to play for Man Utd, with a lot of pressure on a weekly basis.
However the season is expected to start without crowds, this may actually be the right moment to make the transition into the team so Dean Henderson can ease into life as a Manchester United player.
