Charlie Adam: Man Utd should try and sign Harry Kane rather than Jadon Sancho this summer.

Charlie Adam feels that a good strike like Harry Kane is a better option for Man Utd this summer rather than the highly-rated Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.


Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move to sign Borussia Dortmund playmaker Jadon Sancho this summer as the club coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to strengthen his attacking options ahead of next League season which will be his second full season in charge at Old Trafford.

Now, the former Liverpool and Stoke City midfielder Adam has said his belief regarding the matter. 


According to him, Sancho may not even be the right kind of player for Manchester United this summer, He suggested that Tottenham striker Harry Kane would be a better option for UNited this summer than Sancho.

Speaking to the Daily Express, Adam said: 'I do rather went and spent £120m on the Tottenham star Harry Kane [than Sancho] and you could have the Frenchman Martial out wide, you have Greenwood out wide, you will also Rashford out wide and have Kane as your main striker.

'the other three players can as well fit in as No.9 as a back-up as well.'


Sancho has earned some reputation as one of European football's most exciting attacking players in the recent seasons.

The 20-year-old English player netted 17 goals and made 16 assists after completing 32  Bundesliga appearances for the German outfit last season.


on the other hand, the 27-year-old Kane scored 24 goals and made two assists in 29 Premier League match appearances the last campaign.
