Barcelona hoping to tie the youngster down at the club but the player rejected the deal aiming Man Utd move.


The Spanish giant right-back Marc Jurado is ready to sign for Man Utd after rejecting Barcelona's new deal to make him stay at the club.

According to news, Barcelona was hoping to keep the young player down in his new contract at the club but they were locked down in negotiations for weeks with the player.

The 16year-old player was once offered the chance to represent the Juvenil B squad and also Barcelona promised to offer him a big pay rise on his wage if he was to agree on the new terms.

Marc Jurado has opted out against signing a new deal with the Spanish giant and is now expected to sign for Manchester United.

Jurado has spent about nine-year of his career at Barcelona and will end his stay at Camp Nou when he leaves.

From Spanish News publication Sport, the teenager is willing to spend the next few seasons of his career playing for the Man Utd youth team.

Report claim that the young player feels that the Man Utd youth team is stronger than that of Barca and feels that it is a better place to further develop himself.

The player's decision has reportedly not gone well so far in Barcelona, who plans to include the young player in the club's next generation.

The Catalan giants already have a big number of talented youngsters coming up to a higher level at the club.

Barcelona has recently tied the likes of Ansu Fati, IIaix Moriba, Pablo Paez, and Ilias Akhomach down to the club in their new deal and hoping that Jurado will agree and follow suit.

The Reds paid a huge sum of £50million to land Aaron WanBissaka to the club last summer and he is currently the first-choice right-back at the club followed by Diogo Dalot.
