The Reds believes the valuation of the player could be decreased by half, with United expecting to get the signature of the superstar for just £52m due to the global pandemic.
Borussia Dortmund has already set a prize for their superstar of over £100m, with the two football clubs currently some way apart with regard to agreeing on a fee for the player.
But, United strongly believe they can get the better side of the deal due to this current coronavirus pandemic.
